This year we opted to do gingerbread houses the Friday before Christmas. Everyone was off for Christmas break, including Matthew! Yay!! Although this year the kids didn't really want any of our help, other than to use our long arms to get them their desired candy.

I'm not sure mind was any piece of art either but it was still yummy to eat!!
My thanks always go out to my sweet sister who not only hosts EVERYONE every time but also makes all the pieces to the 20+ gingerbread houses and the accompanying frosting.
