Today, out of the blue, we got a snowstorm that started just after lunch. Within a few hours we had about 3" of snow to play in. The kids were in heaven playing with friends. We were outside for a good 2-3 hours before finally coming inside to get warm. At one point I asked Dude if he was ready to come in and he told me he had to soak up every minute. Considering rain is in the forecast, our winter wonderland could be over tomorrow. So thankful we were able to seize our day.
Also, because of the snow, Dude introduced himself to a new, shy 7-year old down the street. Between him and Luca I think they were able to engage and befriend this sweet boy. Wonderful day.
