We celebrated Luca's 8th birthday yesterday. Present scavenger hunt followed by a yummy breakfast, then off to Wings and Waves for four hours of swimming fun. Luca LOVED playing with the modeling clay she got from Grandma Marler. I love that she wanted Crumble cookies for her birthday cake no matter how much Dude tried to convince her to get an ice cream cake.
Today we went to spend her birthday money on a Hobby Lobby shopping spree.
I love my special daughter. I love that she doesn't mind doing her own thing, is so tender-hearted, loves to give and share and LOVES her family. Truly her heart is her super power and I am in awe every day at how she uses it to serve.
